Come to the BFF After Party! The music, the laughter, the food, the buzz - this is an evening for film buffs and friends alike to mingle, have fun and chat about the films they’ve seen or plan to see.
Get caught up in the worldly rhythms of our charming musical guests, The Purveyors. Celebrate the global community of film while sampling the delicious international delicacies catered by this year’s Festival host restaurants, Cravings, Johnny's Seafood, Michael & Marion's and Oscars.
Make this friendly and festive social event part of your Festival experience: the party starts immediately after the Friday night screening of Canadian gem Crackie.
Music
The Purveyors are based in Barrie, Ontario. Members include local favourites Dave Hadfield, Liz and Gerald Levine, Maggie Torelli, Stuart Steinhart and Sound man Andrew Strauss. The band has appeared at folk festivals, pubs and in concert from here to Europe, playing original folk tunes, Celtic classics, foot-stomping fiddle music as well as many popular songs. Their appearances are noted for high-energy crowd involvement, leaving audiences energized and upbeat!
