Following the screening of "A Beginner's Guide to Endings", we welcome guest writer/director Jonathan Sobol at the trendy studio of Jennifer Klementti Photography as the venue for this fun and friendly guest reception. This is an opportunity to meet and mingle with this Canadian talent, discuss the film and enjoy some light hors d'oeuvres provided by At The Five Restaurant. There will also be samples provided by Barefoot Wine & Bubbly and Steam Whistle Pilsner.
GUEST APPEARANCE: Writer/Director Jonathan Sobol
Sobol has been a full-time screenwriter for several years and was selected as one of Canada's "Ten to Watch" by Playback magazine in 2006. His very first feature screenplay (Citizen Duane) debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival. Jonathan has optioned five other original scripts, adapted a novel into a feature screenplay (Farley Mowat's Owls in the Family) and has done a wide variety of story work in both the Canadian and US market. In addition to writing, Jonathan has also moved into directing – helming a short project produced in conjunction with the CBC that debuted at the 2010 Atlantic Film Festival.
